早期聚落最大養羊戶，配種公羊栓於門口，孩子們負責照看空地放養的小羊。

The house owner was the largest goat farmer in earlier days. Stud goats used to be
tethered at the doorway and goat kids were kept in the open grounds by children.

房子為標準馬祖傳統建築。早期家屋材料取得不易，牆體石塊皆由山上或海邊取得，打磨平整後，以亂石砌工法築成，屋瓦上壓放石塊防風。

The house is a standard Matsu traditional architecture. As it is not easy to
acquire building materials in earlier days, the rubbles of the wall masonry are
picked in the hill or on the shore and dressed before laying. Stones are placed
on the roof tiles to keep them from blowing away.

老屋經公部門重新修復後，以大浦客廳為名，讓外來訪客得以休憩歇腳。設有常設展覽，也有不定時的藝術作品展示或快閃廚房進駐。

After renovation by public agencies, the old house is renamed Dapu Parlor and becomes
a place for visitors to take a rest. There are permanent exhibit, ad hoc artist
exhibits and provisional kitchen in the Parlor
