鑲嵌在石壁上的百年石屋,順應傾斜山勢築成弧形坡面,是大浦聚落現今少見仍在使用,並保有舊屋型結構的傳統石屋。據傳為了打造出圓弧建築結構,施工時替換過數批木工師傅,最後才得以完工,是四鄉五島難得一見的建築形式。
The century-old stone house backed by rock face and built on slope of the area is one of the few traditional stone houses in Dapu which preserve their old structure and are still in use. The rounded structure style is one-of-a-kind in the Matsu Islands and the construction is said to have involved several master carpenters before its completion.
早年曾有颱風肆虐大浦,一度吹垮鄰近的茅草屋,唯此屋屹立不搖,屋主接濟受災戶進屋躲避風雨,該受災戶直到娶妻才正式搬離。
In earlier times, a typhoon once struck Dapu and blew down a nearby thatched cottage. The homeowner provided shelter for the affected person and allowed him to stay until he was getting married.
屋主原本飼養雞、鴨、豬母,仔豬曾販售至南竿,甚至搭建了給豬睡覺的房子,同時種菜營生,直到娶妻後才開始從事漁業。
The homeowner once kept chickens, ducks, and sows. He had a pen for pigs, and piglets were sold to Nangan. He also grew vegetables for a living and became a fisherman after getting married.
